Man shot during alleged burglary charged

SILVER CITY A suspected burglar who was shot in the chest last month after he allegedly kicked in the door to a home during an attempted burglary was arraigned Friday morning in Silver City Magistrate Court and asked to have his $75,000 bail reduced, but the judge refused.
